Warren- Cynthia Baskins, affectianately know as "Cindy Girl" and "Pee Wee" 64, died Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at her residence.
Cynthia was born on November 26, 1960 in Jackson, TN, daughter of the late, Charles Smith and Andra Mary Banes.
Cynthia was a 1979 graduate of Youngstown Rayen High School. She cleaned a various places in Warren. Cynthia was a member of St. James Church of God in Christ. She enjoyed spending time with her family espically her grandchildren. One of her favorite pastimes was watching Lifetime movies.
Survivors include her husband, Deran Thomas of Warren; her children, Corieannia "Corie" Redd of Columbus, Adrian (Angelena ) Baskins of Warren, Darron Baskins of Warren, and Myron Baskins of Warren; siblings, Wendy Hopkins, Romona Baskin, and Adrian Meriwether; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also leaves, Shelley Stokes a special friend who was like a sister; Jacqulin Peterson an aunt who was like a mom; and her fur baby, Rosco.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Church of God in Christ, 1838 Main Ave. SW, Warren, OH 44485 with Pastor Dr. Melvin Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.
Friends and family will be received one hour prior at the church
Memorial contributions may be given to St. James Church of God in Christ.
Arrangements are being handled by Beacon Funeral and Cremation Services, Warren.
