Freddie "Lil Fred" Lee Washington Jr.

WARREN - Freddie Lee Washington Jr., affectionately known as “Lil Fred,” passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025. He was born on December 1, 1984, in Ashtabula. Ohio, to Crystal Nicholson and Freddie Lee Washington Sr.

Freddie was self-employed and lived life with creativity, humor, and heart. He enjoyed singing, fishing, painting, and spending meaningful time with his family. Known for his quick wit, Lil Fred was a natural comedian and storyteller who could always be counted on to share a joke and bring laughter into the room. He was loving, caring, and open-minded, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Freddie is survived by his loving wife, Samantha (Petrich) Washington whom he married, April 5, 2024; his parents, Crystal Nicholson and Freddie Lee Washington Sr.; his children, Harmony Washington, Freddie Trey Washington, Okema Washington, Brandon Petrich, Leland Petrich, Keagan Petrich, Little Angel Washington, and Zayden Washington, and Aleayah; his siblings, Nevaeh Washington, Lynnette Washington, Freddie T. Washington, Andrew L.P. Washington, and Christina; and nieces and nephews, Faith, Angel, Jasmine, Freddie, Manny, Marcus, Butt Butt, Alexis, Peanut, Frankie, Malikye, Bentley, Levi, and Niya. He is also survived by his great-nieces and great-nephews, Novella, Na’seer, Na’syis, Zyair, and Celine.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Freddie D. Washington, Teresa L. Washington, Tercsa Washington, and Choice Washington.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. with a funeral service to follow, at Believers Chapel, 2609 Weir Rd. NE. Warren, OH 44483.
